Aesthetic Medicine For Men

The essentials of skincare best practices and cosmetic treatments are similar for men and women, but the approach is tailored to each individual. Some seek a youthful sense of strength and confidence, whether to enhance their presence at work or address early signs of aging. We offer both preventative and restorative options to support positive and confident aging at every stage of life.

Treatments like neuromodulators work by temporarily relaxing facial muscles that cause frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines, resulting in smoother skin. With a conservative approach, hyaluronic acid fillers can be used to add subtle volume to specific areas, enhancing facial features for a natural look. My goal is to provide treatments that make a noticeable impact while delivering long-lasting benefits.

  • What are Neuromodulators?
Neuromodulators such as Botox®, known scientifically as Botulinum toxin, is a medical treatment approved by the FDA. Neuormodulators are designed to temporarily relax facial mucles helping smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
  • How do Neuromodulators work?
Over time, repeated facial expressions can lead to the formation of lines and wrinkles in the skin. Neuromodulators such as (Botox® Cosmetic) works by blocking the chemical signals that instruct facial muscles to contract. This action relaxes the muscles, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and giving the skin a smoother, more youthful look.
  • How long does a treatment take?
A Neuromodulator such as Botox® injection session with Nurse Moreen typically lasts about ten to fifteen minutes and involves minimal to no downtime. This allows you to promptly return to your regular daily activities immediately after leaving our office.
  • Is the Neuromodulators such as Botox® treatments painful?
Most patients experience very minimal discomfort during the treatment, often describing the sensation similar to a quick pinch. We are committed to ensuring the procedure is as comfortable as possible for all our patients.
  • How many injections are recommended?
Treatments are tailored to address your specific needs and target areas. Nurse Moreen will assess your goals and recommend the appropriate number of injections to achieve your desired results. Typically, treating crow’s feet requires three injections per side, while frown lines and forehead lines usually need five injections each. The number of units per injection may vary based on individual requirements.
  • How quickly do you see results?
Initial results begin to be visible about forty-eight hours after injection with full results visible in several weeks.
  • How long do results last?
For moderate to severe lines, results can last up to three to four months.
  • How often are treatments needed?
While the average interval between treatments is three to four months, frequency of treatment depends on each patient and their desired goals. Nurse Moreen can help create a custom Healthy Beauty Plan specific to your needs.
  • Are there any possible side effects?
Proper consultations are required to minimize side effects. Possible side effects are bruising at the injection site, headache, flu-like symptoms, temporary eyelid droop, muscle weakness.
  • How do Neuromodulators such as Botox® differ from dermal fillers?
Neuromodulators such as Botox® works by relaxing facial muscles to smooth lines and wrinkles. In contrast, dermal fillers are used to restore lost volume, helping to reduce the appearance of deep folds and wrinkles by filling them from within.
